What knocks at the front of a Renault Master over bumps?

Metallic knocking from the front suspension of a Renault Master, heard when driving over bumps and speed humps, most often comes from worn anti-roll bar links. They are the cheapest and first parts to check. The rubber-metal joints in the link wear out faster than the rest of the suspension. If the noise remains after replacement, the next suspects are the ball joint and control arm bushes. Anti-roll bar links should be replaced in pairs, left and right together, because wear on one usually means the other is close to failing.
