Do the Opel Movano and Renault Master use the same engines?

Yes. The Movano was never an Opel design. It is a Renault Master sold under a different badge and with the same power units. The Movano A (1998-2010, body code X70) shares its engines with the Master II: 1.9 DTI, 2.2 DTI (G9T), 2.5 DTI and 2.5 CDTI (G9U), plus the 3.0 CDTI (the Nissan-designed ZD3). The Movano B (2010-2021, X62) corresponds to the Master III and was offered exclusively with the 2.3 CDTI (M9T), in single-turbo and twin-turbo versions. The same vehicle was also sold as the Nissan Interstar (generation A) and Nissan NV400 (generation B). The differences are limited to naming: Opel uses CDTI and Renault uses dCi, but both refer to the same engine.

Do Renault Master parts fit the Opel Movano?

Within the same generation and engine version, the answer is overwhelmingly yes, including engine, fuel-system, suspension and drivetrain components. The main differences concern visual parts: the grille, badges and some lamps. Beware of a mistake that regularly occurs during diagnosis: the 2.0 dCi (M9R) was never fitted to the Movano or Master. That engine was used in the Vivaro, Trafic and Primastar. Attempting to connect to the control unit using a Movano profile on such a vehicle will always result in no communication.
