Vacuum pump for Ford Transit, rear-wheel drive 2.2 TDCI from 2011-2019. This brake vacuum pump fits only rear-wheel drive, with single wheels and twin wheels. The vacuum pump is mounted on the side of the engine head with two bolts and is driven by a camshaft. It is responsible for creating a vacuum for the brake booster system in the car. If this component fails, the brake pedal becomes hard and braking becomes difficult or impossible.
