Specifications Van Citroen Jumper II of Transit Center.
The second generation of Citroen Jumper was presented for the first time in 2006. Despite its extremely modern silhouette, it has retained all the best features of its predecessor. This vehicle was characterized by above-average load capacity and functionality inside the cabin, each element was thought out in terms of the driver and passengers. The car also had one of the lowest coefficients of air resistance in its class.
Citroen Jumper of the second generation was available in four versions of the permissible total weight (DMC) from 3.0 tons to 4.0 tons and load capacity from 2403 lb to 4398 lb. The car was also available in three different wheelbases and three heights. The smallest variant had a wheelbase of three meters, while the longest had a wheelbase of 4035 mm. Interestingly, the car was available in three wheelbase variants, but in four lengths. This is due to the fact that the L4 length variant is also based on the same chassis as the version with a 4035 mm wheelbase.
2014 Citroen Jumper - Technical data
In 2014, the car was also quite modernized at the front. They have been changed headlights, front bumper, bonnet and front grille. The interior of the cabin has also been improved to make even more space use and ensure the highest functionality. The second-generation Citroen Jumper is also characterized by the largest width of cargo space among the vans offered so far. In 2014, new engines also joined the offer.
The second-generation Citroen Jumper is powered solely by 2.2-liter and 3.0-liter diesel engines. 100 HDI and 120 HDI engines are a PSA group construction and bear the markings 4HV and 4HU, respectively. The 3-liter engine is an Iveco engine with the designation F1CE481D and has a power of 157 horsepower. Citroen Jumper has three types of transmission, 5 and 6 speed manual transmission and 6 speed automatic transmission. Of course, Citroen Jumper was offered with front-wheel drive. It could not be otherwise, because Citroen Jumper is a pioneer among commercial vehicles and was the first manufacturer to use front-wheel drive in their vehicles for everyday work.
The third generation of Citroen Jumper should appear on the market in the coming years. We very much hope that it will repeat the success of its predecessors and also offer above average transport and functional properties.
