The engine block includes sensors such as: a camshaft position sensor, a crankshaft position sensor, an oil pressure sensor and a coolant temperature sensor. For the engine to work smoothly, efficiently and economically, the computer must receive correct readings from all sensors.

The most important thing is the crankshaft pulley which is the drive pulley for the multi-V belt. Damage to it can break the multi-V belt. The belt tensioner is responsible for the correct tension of the multi-V belt. Over time, the spring built into the tensioner may wear out. The tensioner should then be replaced as soon as possible.
