Oil filter Fiat Ducato 2.2 2006 is an oil filter in a metal housing for 2.2 diesel 100 Multijet engines. The oil filter is responsible for cleaning the oil from particles that are collected as the oil flows through the engine. During operation, metal parts of the engine wear out and metal filings are collected by the oil. The oil filter then prevents the metal particles from returning to the engine. Over time, there is more and more contamination in the filter. If the filter is not changed for a long period of time, the collected contaminants will reduce the flow of oil through the filter, resulting in insufficient lubrication of engine parts.
