Oil filter insert for Mercedes Sprinter with 2.2 DCI engines from 2006 and with 3.0 DCI engines from 2018. Three oil filter base gaskets are sold with the filter. When replacing the oil filter cartridge, the oil filter housing gaskets should be replaced to maintain the tightness of the system. If the oil filter is not replaced on time, due to clogging, contaminated oil will flow through the engine block leading to excessive wear on engine parts.
