Oil filter insert Volkswagen Crafter 2.0 TDI 2016

The oil filter insert for the second generation VW Crafter produced from 2016 is a premium consumable part from Bosch. The oil filter cartridge is sold together with two oil filter base gaskets. The filter is manufactured from reinforced paper to effectively clean the oil and ensure adequate oil flow. The oil that flows through the engine collects various contaminants. These contaminants include metal filings, soot and others. To prevent these contaminants from leading to engine damage, they are trapped in the oil filter. Changing the oil filter on the 2016 VW Crafter is recommended at least once a year or every 15,000 kilometres.
