Fuel system Mercedes Sprinter 2006 includes fuel lines, injectors, fuel filter base and more

The fuel system are parts that deliver fuel from the tank to the combustion chamber. Diesel and gasoline fuel systems differ from each other, however, they have many common features. The main difference is the pressure at which the fuel is delivered to the injectors. Indirect injection gasoline systems operate at pressures from 0.4 to 4 bar. The systems supplying fuel to diesel engines operate at a pressure of up to 250 bar. The high pressure pump is responsible for generating the required pressure in diesel engines. A fuel pressure regulator is used in gasoline engines.
