Specifications Van Iveco Daily II 2006 of Transit Center.
Iveco Daily II received such a large facelift in 2006 that we decided to separate it from all generations of Iveco Daily. The refreshed version of Iveco Daily II debuted in 2006.
The Iveco Daily II facelift in 2007 received a completely new natural gas (CNG) engine with 136 horsepower. Thanks to the new Iveco Daily 2nd generation engine, it met the stringent Euro 6 and EEV (Enhanced Environmentally Friendly Vehicle) emission standards. Iveco CNG tanks were able to contain 31 liters of gas, which was enough to cover 300 kilometers. In addition, Iveco Daily had a reserve tank for traditional fuel with a capacity of 14 liters. However, it should be remembered that the version powered by natural gas had a lower load capacity! The use of an additional tank reduced the second generation Iveco Daily load capacity by 440lb.
Iveco Daily II in 2008 together with the courier FedEx Express began testing new - hybrid engines (route Milan-Turin). New engine tests were also carried out in several European cities, and the Irisbus Iveco Daily Hybrid versions played the role of test mules. The engine consists of a 116 HP diesel engine and a Bosch electric motor with a maximum power of 43.5 HP, which was mainly used when starting the vehicle. After exceeding the speed of 10 km / h, the electric engine automatically turned off, and the car at that time was powered only by a diesel engine.
In 2009, the new Iveco Daily II model was refreshed again. He received a varnished front grill in silver, and new engines in the following versions: 2.3 liters (106HP, 126HP), as well as 3.0 liters (140HP, 170HP). Cars equipped with 3-liter engines are called Iveco EcoDaily.
In 2011, Iveco underwent another facelift and received the European award in the field of transport and the European award for environmental friendliness in transport for the production of the electric version of Iveco Daily. In 2012, the offer was also enriched with new engines with a capacity of 2.3 liters (146HP) and 3.0 liters (146HP) meeting the EEV emission standards.
