OEM (Original Equipement Manufacturer) parts are parts that come from the same production lines as the original OE parts. They differ mainly in their intended use. They are not manufactured for assembly on production lines, but go for onward distribution to dealer networks, workshops and automotive shops. Some well-known manufacturers of Ford Transit parts, e.g. LUK, develop original equipment parts for automotive corporations, while at the same time selling products under their own brand name. On such products we will not find the logo of the car brand, but only the logo of the part manufacturer.
