Specifications Van Peugeor Boxer I of Transit Center.

Peugeot Boxer is a direct successor to the Peugeot J5. The first-generation Peugeot Boxer debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in 1994. Giorgetto Giugiaro was responsible for the design of the car, as well as its twin models, its main task was to reduce the air resistance coefficient. The new Peugeot Boxer construction was so innovative that it received the most important award in the industry in 1995, the title of Van of the Year 1995.

The first generation of Peugeot Boxer was produced in Val di Sangro in Italy and in Sete Lagoas in Brazil. The car was offered in three different wheelbases (L1 - L3) and in four height variants (H1 - H4). The shortest variant had a wheelbase of 2,850 mm, while the longest variety had a wheelbase of 3,700 mm. All body versions underwent quite significant modernization in 2002, when the Peugeot Boxer after the facelift appeared on the market. The changes that were made to this model were so large that by many users it is referred to as the next generation of Peugeot Boxer. This car received new headlights, a slightly redesigned bumper and a completely different front grille and bonnet.

The Peugeot Boxer was powered by gasoline and diesel engines, which dominated the offer. When it comes to gasoline engines, customers had a choice of 3 engines with a capacity of 2 liters: 2.0 i, 2.0 CNG and 2.0 LPG, all from PSA. There were as many as 12 diesel engines available, here also PSA engines dominated, but there were also engines manufactured by Iveco.

Engines powered by CNG and LPG, however, debuted with facelift models, so in 2002. A similar situation occurs with a diesel engine with a capacity of 2.2 liters and a 2.8 HDI engine with the designation Iveco 8140.43N and 146 hp, which also debuted in the model facelift.

Peugeot Boxer of the first generation was produced until 2006. This year, Peugeot presented the next - second generation of the extremely successful design of the Peugeot Boxer.
