Second-generation Peugeot Boxer debuted on the market in 2006. He took over all the most important and best features of his predecessor, thus offering the highest level of reliability. In addition, by introducing a number of amenities, a completely new design and functionality has quickly become one of the most popular commercial vehicles in Europe. The Peugeot Boxer has been entirely designed with drivers in mind and maximum utilization of the cargo space and the interior of the cabin. In addition, it had one of the lowest coefficients of air resistance among commercial vehicles, thanks to which it significantly reduced fuel consumption.

The second generation Peugeot Boxer was available in many types of body styles. Peugeot Boxer II was also produced in two factories: Val di Sangro (Italy) and Saltillo Van (Mexico). The car met all the requirements of its users, it was offered in four length versions (3 wheelbases) and three height versions (H1 - H3). The longest and largest of the L4H3 versions was characterized by a length of over 6.3 meters and a height of over 2.7 meters, while offering a cargo space height of 2.17 meters! Peugeot Boxer was available in four DMC variants: 3.0t, 3.3t, 3.5t and 4.0t and load capacity from 1090 kilograms to 1995 kilograms.

Peugeot Boxer also underwent facelift in 2014, which adapted it to current trends in the commercial vehicle market. First of all, the front of the car was modernized. Completely new headlights integrated with LED daytime running lights, a new front grille and a bumper and bonnet have been redesigned. Completely new in the interior of the vehicle - more ergonomic seats, a cup holder integrated with the central console, as well as a holder for mobile devices and a notebook.

The engines offered along with the second generation Peugeot Boxer are well-known PSA and Iveco engines with the following markings: 100 HDI, 120 HDI and 160 HDI, the latter has 157 horsepower and is made by Iveco. Drive in the Peugeot Boxer was transmitted to the front wheels by means of a 5- or 6-speed manual transmission or optionally by means of a 6-speed automatic transmission.
