Three leaf spring Ford Transit 2014 is an extended element of the van's suspension, which performs shock absorbing functions. The product consists of three spring lags connected to each other - one straight flat bar and two elliptical flat bars. A three-layer spring is used in vehicles with high loads. The product is ended with heads, where bushings are placed. The bushings enable a stable mounting of the leaf spring in the delivery vehicle. The main task of the leaf spring is to absorb vibrations generated while driving with a heavy load and on an uneven road. The 3-leaf spring is a spring element of the suspension that affects the comfort of driving and the life of other van's components. The three-leaf spring is used in the Ford Transit MK8 and in the facelifted version (MK9).
