The Ford Transit MK9 makes its market debut in 2019. It is regarded by many as the facelifted Ford Transit MK8, as the changes made are mainly on the visual aspect. The Ford Transit MK9 is powered by 2.0 TDCI engines, commonly referred to as EcoBlue. Available power variants are 105 hp, 130 hp, 170 hp, 185 hp. These vehicles are mated to M6, A6 and HDT6 6-speed transmissions. The Ford Transit 2.0 EcoBlue engines meet Euro 6c and Euro 6d-TEMPT emission standards and are compatible with AdBlue fluid. C02 emissions oscillate between 163-205 g/km. The available powertrains also include the 2.0 New EcoBlue Hybrid engine with 130 hp or 170 hp. This is a hybrid engine dedicated to front-drive passenger versions. There is also an electric Ford Transit launching in 2022, which we have written more about below.

The Ford E-Transit is powered by a 400V, 68kWh battery. The vehicle has zero emissions thanks to its184hp (135kW) electric motor . The Ford E-Transit does not have a traditional gearbox, it has been replaced by a shift knob (resembling a potentiometer).
