What We Drive at Transit CenterAt Transit Center, we don’t just sell van parts - we live and breathe vans every day. Our own fleet reflects the experience we've gained through years of servicing and supplying parts for a wide range of vehicles. From modern Sprinters to our legendary Drift Bus, here's what we drive and why.Mercedes Sprinter - Our Daily WorkhorsesWe currently rely on two generations of Mercedes Sprinter for everyday operations. These vans offer excellent comfort, great road handling, and the kind of reliability we expect from a work vehicle. Whether it’s transporting parts or traveling to automotive events, the Sprinter is our go-to van for performance and practicality. Our Best Employees Choose VolkswagenSome of our top staff members have trusted Volkswagen vehicles for years. The VW Golf is a popular choice among our team thanks to its build quality, efficiency, and balanced driving experience. It’s a dependable companion for daily commuting and business travel alike. Our Old Vans - Ford Transit HistoryIn the past, we used several generations of the Ford Transit. The MK7, equipped with the 2.4-liter engine and rear-wheel drive, turned out to be troublesome in the long run, particularly in terms of engine durability. The MK8 brought new challenges - the 2.0 EcoBlue engines often struggled with injector failures, AdBlue issues and wet belt problems. On the other hand, the best-performing model we ever had was the Transit MK5 “Smiley”, which we still consider the most reliable and iconic Transit generation in history. Drift Bus - The First in the WorldWe’re proud to still own the world’s very first Ford Transit Drift Bus - built by Transit Center Motorsport. Originally built as a promotional project, it features a roaring BMW V8 engine and rear-wheel drive conversion. It has appeared at shows across Europe and remains one of our most recognizable builds, proving that even vans can be thrilling machines. |
