The transmission of the Iveco Daily IV consists of all parts that are designed to transfer the torque from the engine to the wheels of the van. Right after the engine, the drivetrain is the most important system thanks to which the Iveco Daily can move. Very large forces act on parts of the drive system, therefore the materials used for their production must be of the highest quality. The fourth generation Iveco Daily is equipped with rear-wheel drive (RWD) as standard. In 2007 in cooperation with the SCAM brand Iveco presented the Daily with four-wheel drive (AWD). Vehicles with this drivetrain are used, among others, as fire trucks, campers, police vans or other vehicles for special tasks.
