The history of vans

The history of vans goes back to 1896, when Herr Gottlieb Daimler constructed the world's first truck with an internal combustion engine. This event took place only 10 years after the construction of the first passenger car manufactured by Daimler, which was also one of the first such constructions in the world.

Below you can follow the fate of individual manufacturers of vans. By clicking on the appropriate logotype, you will be taken to the History page of the brand in which we describe the development and curiosities related to the production of commercial vehicles.
