Volkswagen Crafter parts are new spare and genuine parts available in our store's offer. Volkswagen Crafter is a delivery vehicle from a German concern that premiered in 2006. The new vehicle model is the successor of the Volkswagen LT, which was produced in the years 1975-2006. People attached to the VW brand very often also use the term Volkswagen LT3 in reference to the Crafter, but it is a very misleading term. VW Crafter is a completely new design that was created in cooperation with Mercedes. The previous range of vans was already very outdated and differed from the vehicles offered by competitors.
Volkswagen Crafter I have more streamlined shape of the van's bodywork and a new range of engines. The most characteristic parts for the Volkswagen Crafter are slim, vertical headlights and a plastic strip that runs along the entire length of the van. Interestingly, VW Crafter is offered in over 200 different versions, depending on the wheelbase, length, body and the intended use of the vehicle. The interior designers did a great job. They managed to make the interior more attractive, giving it comfort features associated mainly with passenger cars.
In 2011, the delivery van underwent a facelift, which mainly covered the appearance of the front end. A new generation of diesel engines was also introduced to the vehicles - five-cylinder engines were replaced by four-cylinder engines with the Common-Rail system. Parts for Volkswagen Crafter that have been changed include a radiator grille and a bonnet. The dashboard has a more modern look and a new dashboard. The first generation Crafter was offered in such versions as: van, bus, box body, ambulance, tipper.
In 2016, production of the Volkswagen Crafter II was started in the Polish plant. The vehicle was created in a style reminiscent of the iconic Volkswagen Transporter T6, which is a continuation of the popular "cucumbers". The design of parts for VW Crafter has changed, such as the front grille, headlights, front bumper and side mirrors. The Volkswagen delivery truck won the 1st place in the poll for the Commercial Vehicle 2017. The new generation of Volkswagen Crafter was equipped with diesel engines with a capacity of 2.0, which met the stringent Euro 6 exhaust emission standards. In terms of safety systems, the most important role was played by the systems preventing accidents and other road collisions. The headlights were equipped with a cornering light system, and behind the car warning (RTE) sensors were installed on the side of the body.
